Lofoten Islands is a group of islands in the northern part of Norway. The northern lights belt hits Norway starting here in the Lofoten Islands and then follows the coast up to the North Cape. The weather in Lofoten can change rapidly in winter, these changes help provide magnificent light conditions, which have in turn inspired artists over many decades. Often described as one of the most scenic parts of Norway and having won serveral presitgious titles from travel magazines, it truly has to be visted to experience the beauty of this area.
Anker Brygge- located in the harbour of Svolvaer, the hear of Lofoten, Anker Brygge has comfortable rorbu suites on offer. With the oldest one being built around 1850 and the new ones around 1994, they all share the same old exterior look, but whilst offering all the modern interior comforts such as tiled bathrooms with floor heating. Guests are served a complimentary breakfast buffet, and housekeeping is offered daily.
